ha, happened to me a few weeks ago, except the other driver, a young girl, was there, I left my phone number for her parents to contact me. I was going to settle out of my own pocket since I thought it was just some surface scratches, how much can it be? Well, the estimate is for $400!! So I contacted my insurance, it turns out they cover it without any penalty to me (don't know my own insurance very well, obviousely). So now, it's between them and the insurance company.
