Dear Sir/Madam,
I think I met a trick in processing of buying my new car on May-24, the final price ($24,387.50) is very different from that I made a deal with dealership ($21,200 drive out price). When I sign it about final finance work, the sale's man and finance man told me I don't worry about it because I will pay cash and take my voucher back. But next morning, I began to worry about What I can do if he ask me to pay the total price. I asked them if there is some problem, or where is wrong. The explain is not what I expect, and it is not the fact. The following steps are the whole process. Hope I can let you understand what happened on me and get your kind help. I have several terrible stories from buying day to now.

(I). I came to Champion Toyota Gulf Freeway because they have a sell promotion, which is emailed to me by Taha Yusuf, an internet manager.

1.I asked a drive out price for Toyota RAV4 with base package and the cheapest one first. Later a sale-man, who is introduced to me by Taha Yusuf, gave me $24,1XX.
2.I argue it is too high. He asked me to give him a price, then I give him $21,500 drive out because I have about two months experience asking the price from other dealerships and internet, and I know I could get it by 22, XXX from others.
3. He left and came back to take a paper, on which the price is $20,XXX+Tax+plate+others=22,XXX. I said 'No'. He said 'you see the price $20,XXX is lower than $21,500 you asked'. I said `No, I mean my drive out price is $21,500.
4.He asked me how to pay. I said I would like to pay Cash and I also have an old car which is applying for vehicle voucher (getting $3,000). The result will be known in this week (ie. from May-26), I think, I can get it becaue I submitted it on May-08 and the officer told me I will know the result in end of last week and this mid-week (at least next week, I think). However, I am not sure if it can be approved.
5.He left to ask his manager again. Later he came back with his manager. Say `OK, make deal'. Then I asked the manager to give me $500 discount if I pay cash, because I know there is advertisement said in new paper. The manager did not say 'no', just said so glad to have my custom (similar works).
6.When he came back and take a paper again, on which the price is $21,500. I argue why there is no the $500 discount. He said 'No' and I asked 'Why' because your manager seemly agree with me. At this time I am a little bit angry, and said if you can give me the price $21,200 I will buy, it not, I have to leave. He left and take a paper back again and let me sign on it, say it is your price, you see. Yes, the final is the price I asked.
NOTE: he did not explain any other things, just let me see the final price and sign on it. I ask to try the car, and did it. After that, I sign it on that paper because I believe I get a drive out price, $21,200, and a good car. The trick is here: he gave me very high price-3,000+taxes+fee=$21,200. he did not let me see others and explain any others, just let me see the final price, $21,200. I find the trick when I go back to make sure what happened on May-27. And I find he also wrote a wrong name, wrong year for the old car there. It is not my old car. And the final price is also different from that on the contract agreement.
8.He let me sign on many papers, but no any explain, When I ask what it is, he explained them very simply. Finally, he told me I don't worry about the finance paper work because I will pay cash and give the voucher back, just like the finance man said later. At that time they will tear them off.
9.On finance desk, just let me sign all of them, say I have 30 days insurence, and don't worry about these because I will pay cash and take the voucher later, but no any explain to the finial price, and rate. When I find the rate is 7.55%, I said, WOW, it is a so high rate. However, I do not worry about it because I know I will pay cash. My fault is too believe them totally, even not read contract and others, just do signature as what they ask me, because I did not meet trick since I came USA for 4 years, and I always meet honest sale, except t his time.
10. Next morning, I find the very high price, $24,387.50, my drive out price. I began to worry about it and asked them for help to make sure what happened and where is wrong because I worry about I cannot do anything if they ask me to pay the price. Yesterday, they say I have to pay the price because I sign on it. So, I come here to complain that I met a trick during buying my new car.
11.Two days later, on May-26, they gave a first price for my friend and her daughter, $23,XXX. This price is evidently lower than my drive out price after I negotiated with them for so long time, $24,387.50, and when they were doing a sell promotion before memorial day. That is why I believe I was tricked, and I find the mistake (trick) in the second morning On May-25 and email to him to ask what happed on me, while I bought my new car in the late afternoon on May-24. It is very imporssible to pay a higher price than he gave me the first price, 24,0XX, I remember.

Hope I can let you understand what happened on me, and where I was tricked.

(II). Small tricks I also met at that day.

On May-24, in the beginning, when the sale's person and I saw those 2008 RAV4 in front of main sell building ,
I said I want to buy a RAV4 with lowest package, and I like colors of light blue first, second light green,
the third is what I got now. At that time, there are those colors there,so the sale's man should know what I need.
The sale's man said he can find them in other place. Later after we made a deal, and I ask to try the car,
the sale's person told me the other colors I like the first and second belong to a higher package, limited.
For my package there are no that two colors. OK, I have to agree to buy the car with the color (Savannah metalic) and drive it to go because it is not too bad. But, on May- 26, my friend and her daughter went there and fond that two colors, at least the light blue one, which is my favorite. Why? Why? Why? I am not sure if the sale's man is wrong. However, I find the two colors from their website, which are called as 'pacific blue metallic' and 'Everglade metallic'.

I told him I just need the lowest package, and also asked him if there is 'Tint on window', the sale's man told me 'No. But my friend and her daughter told me there is 'Tint' on my current car, and also find other extra option
there at that night on May-24. At that time, I know I did not get a car with the lowest package.
Thus, I am confused again to meet so many mistake for the purchase this time.
Why are there so many mistakes this time? The only answer is their sale's man don't want to service customers well, just want to earn our money by small and big trick. Do you have same feeling with me?


(III). They are too rude to customer, like me.

In the local Toyota dealership, Champion Toyoya, any one, including those managers, does not really want to solve my problem because they know how and where have tricked me. They are very rude, just said 'no trick, they can not do anything because I signed on those papers. But, the sale's person just told and show me the final price,
$21,200 which is what I wanted, drive out price for 2008 RAV4. However, I only discuss with him how much I would like to drive it out in the beginning. Why he removed $3000 (using my old car) and don't let me know? If he told me, thus I must know the car's drive out price is actually $24,200. In this price, Why I would like to accept it?
It is impossible for me to accept the price because I know at least I can get the car by paying $22,XXX. I have at least two months experience in Toyoya for 2008 RAV4 and Honda for 2008 CR-V (EX).
Because He didn't explain the details, and tell me how to get the final price, he just tricked me here, and made me misunderstand I got $21,200 drive out price, or, he misunderstood my meaning about drive out price.
He trade in my old car, however, it is not my old car. If he explained the details, I must find the trick and the wrong car. That is why I think he tricks me here. That is also a clear evidence he did not explain anything, except the final price, and just he let me sign it quickly. In fact, At that night, My boss had a party for my collegae because she will leave our group to go to NASA, however I went there very late, about 8:40pm. Because I believe them too much, and I did not meet any trick in buying my one new car in 2004, an old car in 2006,and others, that is possible reason why I did not read those contract and sign them fast. It is my fault not to read those carefully,
However, it should be their responsibility to tell me what they are in detail. But, the sale's person did not do so.

I believe you can find the trick there and give me a hand. I have about $3,800 salary each month, my hu*****and just works in partial time (about $600 per month), and I have a daughter in high school, who will go to college next year. I just come to USA for 4 years. $3,000 is a big money to my family. So, it is impossible for me to send them as a gift.

I am also scared there, because they told me they can ask police man to let me and my friend leave (one time on May-27, one on May-29) though I only asked a right person who is possible to solve my problem. My friend and I did not speak loudly there and not affect their business, why they are so rude to us? I am their customer, and I have some problem which need to talk with some one for help. But, one of heir manager told us this is a private place, and they have a right to ask police man to force us leave because we are not welcomed by them. What? what? what? I am their custom, and I just bought a new car 3-4 days ago. Now, when I have some problem and questions which need some right person to help me to solve it, they do not welcome me anymore. Do you think it is reasonable and acceptable? I come to USA for 4 years. I did not met this kind of things. Most of people in other place are very polite, including other dealership from Toyota and Honda.

Dear Sir/Madam, they are too rude to solve some problem when they meet the difference with their customs.
Do you think it is right? I am too angry because of their trick and their attitude to customs.



(IV)Toyota in CA cannot do anything in this case.
They ask some one in Champion Toyota to contact me, but they did not talked to me.

Now is 9:26pm on June-04 in Houston. I just tell you I am so sorry that I did not receive his call by now, thought I called him two times, 6:44pm yesterday and 11:05am today (my cell phone recorded), and left message asking him to call me back when he is convenient, after I told him who I am. He is Glenn Elvis Foss, right? His direct phone number is 713-943-4135. And, I did not miss any call from him because my cell phone does not record it..
However, I just received a call from 713-378-2200 at 6:11pm, in which a lady told me my license plate is ready.

How do I do now in the case Champion Toyota does not do anything as you asked them?
Why don't they want to sit with me and listen what happened on me. Why don't they want to solve it
when a customer met some problem with their sale's person? Where and what is their service to the customers?
Just only earning our money, no any service after selling? This is the first time for me
to meet so bad purchase and too bad service in USA. No words.

Based upon the information we have been provided, Champion Toyota has explained the vehicle price, taxes and fees to you (not fact, Lirong NOTE). Management at Champion Toyota has reviewed the paperwork and has not found any errors or wrong doings in the contract. (That is why I call it there is trick there, Lirong NOTE).
We are unable to answer your question about canceling the sales contract, as it varies from state to state.
Due to the nature of your concern with Champion Toyota, there is nothing further our office can do to assist you. Although we do try to facilitate communication between our customers and our dealerships, we must respect the independent decisions made by our dealerships. For further assistance with your sales concern, you will need to seek assistance outside of Toyota.
If we can be of any assistance in the future on another matter, please feel free to contact us.
