you DO NOT have his money --- you only have a number in your account! International transfers can take 2 weeks to clear. So you could even "cash" out that number of dollars and hold the real green paper money in your hand for now. But when your bank can not get the fund from his bank account (which he will close once he cashs out your wired money to him), then your bank will deduct the number from your hard-earn money, unless you also close your account AND leave the country.

One way to play with him is to wait for 2 weeks then wire the money to him. Write him and see what will happen. DO post here the end result!!!
