Urgent waiting: campus job

I am in a little complicated situation. I am a TA with 16 hours assignment and still take classes on campus. Now my professor wants to pay me additional money because I work for his company. He does want to pay me in additional to assistantship. How can I get the money. Should I apply for CPT? If I apply for a CPT, I will take me 2-3 months to receive the money. And if he pays assistantship to me, he will pay more to the university and I will get very little money. What is the best way? Any suggestions or comments?
