With his 50 to 60K annual income, your LG's life will be miserable after paying alimony and child support. Your life won't be much better either. Everyone of you will live near the bottom of the society financially. I suggest you have a serious discussion with him about divorce, including the financial sequences to him. But be very careful about moving forward with that step. The purpose is to make him think and change. In the meantime, you should try to find a job yourself. His bad behavior may be related to the pressure he feels.
