For your first two questions, both answers are : you are free to make your own choice. If you do not pay yourself salary, then you need not to pay sociscurity and medical taxes (you still need to pay income tax, if your business has income) and you do not have sociacurity benift. Similarly, if you do not buy worker's compensation insurance for yourself, then you do not have the benefit.
