1. Police cannot help you in this case. You should avoid to have direct contact with her, if she call the police, you might be the one who will be in trouble.

2. Dont take personal check in any situation for any reasons. State clearly that you will only take Bank's official check or money order.

3. Write a letter to her for the money owned, you can state that: in certain period of time, if haven't paid in full, a legal action will be taken by you.....
