Dental school may be better

since ortho residents can see you at a reduced fee or faculties at a higher rate, and they'd love to see some challenging cases for teaching/research/publications. Right now, a orthodontist only may not solve the problems completely, and most likely a team of a general dentist (a quarterback for general treatment plan), a orthodontist (to "straighten teeth"), an oral surgeon (to adjust soft tissue and bony anomalies), and a Temporomandibular specialist (to have TMJ balance, and may also need physical therapy as an adjunctive treatment). All in all, the team can be easily formed within a good dental school while it may be extremely difficult to have multiple consults with individual private specialists...

It's not a bad idea to go back China for help, but just keep in mind, your case requires a comprehensive and aggresive full-mouth-reconstruction and very frequent follow-ups, which can easily last more than two years, cna you really have that much time there? Also, I've seen may work from non-US dentists, so I would have it done here if I were you...

Good luck :-)
