请教超速ticket

老哥拿到一张indiana的超速罚款---限速60的路上开了88。今天收到要求出庭的通知-you are hereby notified taht an order has been made for you to pay in Room 123 or appear in the court. 

不知道是不是一定要出庭。还是直接交罚款就可以了？刚才试了试在线交，好像说两周后才可以。

 不出庭，会有什么不好的后果吗？

如果想上交通法规课程，该怎么上呢？
