It's too late for attorney. If you retained an attorney right after the accident, you might ba able to collect body injury beyond actaul medical bill, with more follow up treatments. In the case like you, you could get no more than a couple thousand for "Pain and Suffering", without more real treatment bills. So three thousand beyond bill is not a bad deal.
