有传票当然要出庭

1.  got a summon

2.  appear in court

3. plea not guilty

4. judge ask why you are not guilty

5. you answer:  

5.1 Your honor, it's not me, it's my tenant. He's not here please send him the summon.

5.2 Your honor, my tenant already cleaned up, here are the proof.

5.3 Your honor, it's not me, it's my tenant, and he's here with me, he will explain.

Pick option 5.X and go with it. 

If you plea guilty, judge says, thank you, pay the fine on your way out.
