plea what?

plea guilty, not guilty and no contest?

What did I just tell you? If you think you are not guilty, plea not guilty.

Why overthink it?  

In preparation for trial, the other party has to show you the evidence e.g. witness, photos or anything leading to your citation.  Once you saw the evidence, you can point out that they are mistaken, and hopefully the case will be dropped.
