It's impossible to comment without seeing the trust document

You have yourself a few question among all the others:

1. Who is the beneficiary of the trust? Are grandparents the beneficiaries, to what extent?

2. What are the duties and rights of the trustee?

3. How and when the trust was established? This will help to determine if you will be entitled to any child support or spouse claims against the trust.

There are so many variables here and I strongly advise you find a lawyer, if what at stake deems to be worth it. I am pretty sure if you present the trust document to a competent estate planning lawyer, other questions will come up as well. The best bet for you will be the lawyer who originally drafted the trust document.
