my friend is 45 and wanted to try ivf. But her doctor doesn't think ivf will benefit her and let her try IUI. Since she has one child and has always regular period. She has never thought she would have problems. After a miscarriage last year, she did test and found out her FSH was 20. She tried clomid twice but failed and her period become irregular after the two round of clomids.

Any comments? Shoud she insiste on IVF or try IUI next time?
