Thanks. What if his H1 extension gets approved

and a new I-94 card is attached? Under such kind of situation, would he still has to go outside to get the H1B stamp?

I really doubt about if also - about if his H1B would be approved. I do not know this person. I am just curious about this kind of situation, and I was just trying help him/her.
