赌博，交易和Educated guess

赌博，gambling, 是属于一种娱乐方式。在Wiki中它的定义是“wagering of something of value on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value", 就是对随机事件的的随机猜测，对错完全是运气的因素。

交易，trading，是属于一种商业方式，比如常见的到义乌低价进货小商品然后加价卖到欧洲，交易者有利可图，是因为supply demand mismatch。这种交易方式只要有准确的市场调查，是比较容易盈利的。

股市中的交易也脱不开 Law of Supply and Demand. 比如TA中有一个indicator叫Exhaustion Bar。An Exhaustion Bar is a bar which signals the exhaustion of the trend in the current direction. In other words, an exhaustion bar is “A bar of the last seller“ in case of a downtrend and “A bar of last buyer” in case of an uptrend。简而言之，在downtrend中出现exhaustion bar就意味着短期内supply短缺，股价止跌上扬的可能性大。反之，在uptrend中出现 exhaustion bar就意味着短期内demand不再强劲，股价遇阻回落的可能性大。

我昨天说SOXL在42-ish是一个比较好的买点，这是一种educated guess-based on Exhaustion Bar。用TA来说，图是这样的。每个绿色圈圈代表的就是Exhaustion Bar。3/15/2024是昨天出现的Exhaustion Bar。在这之前的四次都是SOXL的绝佳进场点。

SOXL自3/11/2010年inception以来，这种Seller Exhaustion Bar总共出现了146次，机率为4.14%。这146次中124次有比较大的upside,大概十天 upside有15%左右，二十天upsid超过20%。具体如下：

SOXL总共出现Seller Exhaustion Bar的146次当中，2个月内ROI大于15%的可能性多达124次，磨磨唧唧不输不赢是9次，输的可能性也有，是13次。所以成功的机率是84.93%，不输不赢的机率是6.16%，输的可能性为8.9%。因为这是一种基于probability的估算，所以我认为是一种educated guess而不是纯粹的random guess like gambling。
