VIX历史数据的统计

VIX经常被称作恐慌指数，是根据SP500期权指数计算出来的，和SP大概有86％的负相关。VIX的特点是上升比较快，上升时间比较短，大多数时间基本是在一个区间内波动。太高了，会下来，太低了，就会拉上去，永不停止。VIX本身不能交易，所以目前市场上可以交易的都是期货，或者给予期货的各种组合，如XIV，SVXY，VXX，UVXY，TVIX，ZIV等等。

正是因为VIX的区间波动性，决定了这是一个很好可以利用统计来交易的参数。具体的方法就让各位去想象吧。我这里给出2004年以来，VIX历史数据的统计分布，如下表：

就是说，历史上，VIX一半的时间在16.9以上，一半的时间在16.9以下，有70%的时间在21.4以下，80%的时间在24.5以下，90%的时间在31％以下。历史最高是2008年11月20日的80.86。有了这些数据，基本就可以根据当日的VIX决定自己的交易方法。

需要说明的是，VIX产品一个重要的特征是Contango，在没有明白这个东东之前，尽量不要碰。等有时间再聊contango这个话题。
