KNDI will be added to the Index... Good or bad

NEW YORK, June 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ), parent of the world's first electronic stock market and a leading index provider, today announced the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Golden Dragon China Index (Nasdaq:HXC), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 24, 2013.

The following six securities will be added to the Index: Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq:ACTS); Kandi Technologies Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:KNDI); Noah Holdings Limited (NYSE:NOAH); Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (NYSE:SMI); Simcere Pharmaceutical Group (NYSE:SCR); and YY Inc. (Nasdaq:YY).

The Index is designed to provide insight and access to the unique economic opportunities taking place in China while still providing the transparency offered with U.S. listed securities.

As a result of the re-ranking, the following four securities will be removed from the Index: AsiaInfo-Linkage, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASIA); China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited (NYSE:MY); Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE:STP); and UTStarcom Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq:UTSI)
