485和130都收到RFE
移民局来信要求提供marriage certificate for the marriage of xxx and xxx。
父母年龄都很大了，结婚证已经没有了。这种情况下怎么提供材料？
-叫国内当地派出所出个证明，然后去公证处作个婚姻状况公证。
好像国内现在可以补办结婚证，可是补办的结婚证上的登记日期会是现在的日期，怎样跟移民官解释？
而且补办的地方和结婚地不一致会不会有问题？
-The problem is the marriage date. If the marriage date is the old date, then it will be OK.
除了提供结婚证还有没有别的选择？我看RFE上就只要求结婚证。
-It is needed for your father's case. USCIS want know whether you were born after your parents got married. Many people (especially in US) were born before their parents go married or their parents did not married, so USCIS need to know whether the father took the responsibilities in raising the child up in this case. If you were born after your parents got married, then you do not need to provide any evidence on your father raising you up.
