In CA, after marriage income (stocks, salary, 401K0 from both sides (yours and his) should be divided equally. As you are out of job now, not sure if he should help you out a little. I would suggest you read marriage law in CA and consult a lawyer. Not using the lawyer for divorce; but spend several hundreds for consultation.

BTW, don't be bothered by mean comments -- no matter how mean they are, your hu*****and tops those.
