Based on this, your friend should ask for more properties, much more than 1/2. (I stay at a community property state. My co-worker divorced. His stay-home wife got the house, 1/2 savings, including his 401K. He needs to pay child support till kids turn 18. He save extra for kids college tuition.) Your friend DEFINITELY needs a lawyer.

Her hu*****and does not have much 良心。 If he does, he would give more properties to her, considering she needs to take care of the kids.
