关于信用卡fraud的问题,请教大家. 谢谢

  今天收到信用卡公司的信,怀疑我有客人盗用了一个老美信用卡在我这购买东西.  真正的卡主拒付.信用卡公司需要我提供客人信用卡 正反面复印件,及签字. 这个客人当时是用email  给我她的信用卡正反面复印件和她的护照. 签字是用电子签字.  卡上的名字护照上的名字同一个人. 我把这些提供给信用卡公司时他们说这个卡的真正持有者是一个美国人.我需要支付这笔费用. 目前联系不上客人,请问如果真的客人盗用别人的卡, 我要怎样才能避免支付这笔费用. 大约4000 美金.
