It doesn't stay in place, moves a lot, hard to dry. Not very good for making pastry dough or pizza dough.
I bought a maple wood pastry/bread board from Amazon, the other side can be used as a cutting board.
Heavy, solid, large, 24" by 22". It doesn't need much cleaning, just wipe out the surface lightly and apply mineral oil
occasionally. $70 to $80. Not expensive for good pastry/cutting board.
This thing has two standing edges on both sides so it holds onto the counter top. I put it on my kitchen island so it
doesn't need to be stowed away. It is too big for putting into the cabinet.

I really love it. No matter how big your pastry project is, it can handle it.
