If there are substantial changes in his life, he can petiton the Court to reconsider the amount of child support he currently pays. Then the Judge will determine whether or not the petition should be approved. In most cases, only if he really has difficulty meeting the payment requirement, or the amount of child support specified under the divorce decree is completely unreasonable, would the Judge reconsider the previous judgment.

My suggestion: it is not worth fighting both legally and morally, if you don't have financial problem paying the child support.
