我也有一辆 E350，只不过是2016年的，也如你说不是视频里的那一种。看了manual 又看了车，真如manual 说的。

manual p 408.  Incase of power failure, the gear selector lever can be manually unlocked, e.g. to tow the vehicle. 

1. open the storage compartment int center armrest

最重要的是 要把那个cupholder 拿出来，你就会看到一个开口。

2. Take out the cup holder !  insert a suitable object through the hole and press the pin downward.

3 remove pin.

先去做做功课再说不行, MoonRiverMe 说的对。 File a complain? 哈哈。
