请教：05年 toyota corolla 开了80770迈，发动机要不要进行维护维护啊

请教：05年 toyota corolla 开了80770迈，发动机要不要进行维护维护啊？？最近半年来，发现车速开到40迈，发动机的声音有点轰响，反正比以前响多了，上了高速，还要再响一点。但是，车启动后，发动机的声音正常，静音。那么发动机怎么维护？就是清洗吗，什么叫发动机维护？先谢谢高手了。
