Escalade vs Enclave

I want to buy an Escalade for my wife as her birthday present. But she feels that Enclave is non-inferior to Escalade, but at least 30% cheaper and possibly more reliable. Does the name Cadillac and the extra engine power justify the extra dollars, or are there anything else better for Escalade?
