You either can not do general solicitation (506 b), which means no wechat or paper/radio/web ads, or You have to verify your investors are accredited investors (506 c). The rule is there to protect small and naive investors from potential fraudulent solicitations. That is why GP should do their homework and LPs should ask the right questions.
