Or use white vinegar to replace rinse aid. The issue is they are not using phosphate in dish detergent now, and soap react with hard water to form the white gunk. If you look at the ingredient of rinse you will find it is citrid acid plus someother stuff. Either rinse aid or vinegar will desolve the hard water residule.
First time should put a lot of vinegar in for wash (like 2 cups). Then keep the rinse aid compartment filled with vinegar.
