Anybody live in Dallas? Do we need rain boots in Dallas TX?

I just bought two pairs of Hunter of the same color. One for my daughter and one for myself. But my husband just got a job offer in Dallas TX. Do we need rain boots in Dallas? Should I return the Hunters to the store?
