感谢春秋往事下面的帖子提起CCJ. 我不妨抛砖引玉把收集的情况展展：

今天 Trump tweet: The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.

这样的的发话，让我想起CCJ.

卡梅科公司Cameco Corporation(NYSE:CCJ)创立于1987年6月19日，总部位于加拿大萨斯卡通，全职雇员3,963人，是目前世界上第三大的铀生产商，通过其美国和加拿大的矿山，控制全球约16%的产量。

Cameco经营地下铀矿及铀的生产，也提供核电厂加工服务所需的燃料，以及生产清洁电力。公司经营业务分为三个部门：铀、燃料服务及电力。

铀部门：提供铀浓缩物的探勘、採矿、选矿、购买及销售；
燃料部门：提供铀浓缩物的提炼、转换与加工，购买与销售的转换服务；
电力部门：生产与销售电力。

卡梅科（Cameco Corporation）是世界上最大的铀交易上市公司，根据2013年的数据，其也是世界第三大铀生产商，占世界产量的16%（2012年这一数据为14%）。

Cameco，是加拿大采矿和能源公司（Canadian Mining and Energy Corporation）的缩写，是于1987年由两家公司合并及私有化组成的：加拿大联邦政府控制的Eldorado Nuclear Limited（前称 Eldorado Mining and Refining Limited）和萨斯喀彻温省的Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation (SMDC)，合并后的公司缩写为：Cameco Corporation，由Saskatchewan省政府持股62%，加拿大联邦政府持股38%，是一家地地道道的“国企”。

1991年7月，Cameco进行IPO，拿出20%的股份用来公开交易，在此后的11年间，政府持股不断下降，到2002年2月，政府退出持股，Cameco变成一家“民企”。

1996年，卡梅科收购美国最大的铀生产商——Power Resources Inc.。

1998年，Cameco收购了加拿大Uranerz Exploration and Mining Limited和Uranerz U.S.A., Inc.。

2012年，收购核燃料媒介公司——Nukem Energy。

五年前，日本福岛第一核电厂在地震海啸之后，发生了堆芯熔毁放射性物质泄露的严重事故，全世界随即谈“核”色变，许多核设施被关闭或停建的状况，也导致作为核燃料的铀的价格长时间下滑。而直至今日，那起自1986年切尔诺贝利事件后全世界上最严重的核灾难，对于铀价走势带来的阴影仍好挥之不去。(下图一的月线可见自11年开始的跌势）

虽然，过去两年来，随着中国大规模建设核电站，以解决电力短缺和燃煤发电引发严重空气雾霾污染的问题，使得全球铀价逐步触底企稳，并令专家认为，铀价格可能到2018年时翻倍，目前铀市场的底部已可见。围绕着铀的负面心态也开始改变，基本面强壮。(下图二的日线也见到CCJ 的反弹，不过目前已经到达前期的第一个压力位10.49 左右，要继续观察究竟是构筑右肩然后转势，还是受压于阻力，第二次探底？）（下图三是铀价周线图，关注最近的一个大阳线反弹）

In an interview with MINEX Asia in June, 2016， Tim Gitzel, President and CEO of Cameco, summed upped the depressing environment for uranium this way:

"We haven’t seen prices this low for many years. There’s not very much activity on the market, small amounts of material, often changing hands among traders. There is a sense among utilities that there is a lot of uranium around and so there is no urgency to be buying. Utilities are well covered for the next few years so the prices are staying low for now. We expected Japan to move more quickly with restarting their reactors but it didn’t happen. Material that would have been delivered to Japan is now coming onto the market and keeping the price down."
