most likely, fan motor is overheating.

The system runs for a little while, when the fan is overheated, the internal protection shuts the fan down. When fan is down, the coprocessor will be overheated and shut down.  However, if you wait until everything cools down, the system starts to works again (sometimes a manual reset is required).  If this is what you experience, replace the fan moter.
