today the vix of QQQ dropped 21%, and it seemed that the VIX will drop again.
for the above reason, i think it is not the time to buy the OCT QQQ or OCT SPY put yet.
when the VIX is dropping, the time value will drop.
I will prefer to keep an eye on the QQQ & SPY Oct put for at least 10 days , then decide to buy or not.
the good time to buy put is when the vix is quite low.
