Garbage disposal does not turn on

访客说Garbage disposal does not turn on。 they just moved in two months ago and have all sorts of issues. I have lived there for 15 years and have never had issue with Garbage disposal except some times the pipe got clogged.

What is the possible reason?  I am afraid they are trying to give me hard time.
