Le Beccherie, in Treviso, Italy, will close its doors at the end of the month because of its dwindling clientele thanks to the country’s financial crisis. It was in the 1970s that the establishment combined ladyfingers, eggs, sugar, mascarpone cheese and cocoa to create the popular dessert tiramisu.
