NOK with MSFT deal is definitely not a good deal. Just look at Samsung earning.

NOK missed big opportunity to make money from Android smart phone. Smart phone margin is very good as long as the volume is good, say 1-2 million/month. Apple's iPhone only cost $200, can sell for $600. No computer(laptop/desktop) can have that margin.

Samsung GS2 and GS3 probably cost only $50 more than iPhone5 to make, say $250. It still can sell for around $500. Samsung said it sold 10 million GS3 in the first 100 days. Assume every phone only can make $200 profit(exclude R&D cost), that's already $2B profit.

The stupid CEO unnecessy tight itself with MSFT. If MSFT success with WP platform, it doesn't mean NOK success because MSFT also licenses WP to Samsung/HTC/Lenovo/LG/Moto or whoever want to. If WP fails, NOK will be gone. NOK got $1B from MSFT, its market cap also lost over $10B after that.
