Relax

There is always this type of risk in any business in US, such as apartment rentals, day cares, health cares, entertainment centers, etc.

It should not be the reason to be scared. Just be aware of it. And anything can happen in court (if you put such cases in court, you may get 50/50 outcomes).

And lawyers tend to go after corporations and business because they can get lot more from it. Even a dry cleaner got sued by a million just because of a rediculous lawyer, remember that?. What can you do in this world?

If you worry, get umbrella insurance.

Do business as usual. No need to be scared.

Such issue is here for a long long time, never heard that landlords won't be landlords just because of that.
