update --- Rental issues - 请老地主们帮忙

I went to the rental property adfter work, and trying to talk to her. Unfortunately she was not home. so I left a note telling her that we did not receive the rent, and would like her to send to us ASAP, and also asked for most recent contact info, and went back home.

I got an email from her now saying she sent me check on the 3rd. Since we did not receive it, she issued a stop check today, and will mail another one to me tomorrow. She thinks I did not receive the check because that she sent through her work place, so this time she will send by herself through post office.

She did not mention late fee at all. I do want to charge her late fee, hoping this can stop her from late again. should I reply to her back asking to add the $50 or not? What will you do?
