That is true for all assets, not just Gold.

In 2006, people put too much money into real estate (borrowed too much money). In 2000, people put too much money in tech. Now, people put too much money in US treasury.

For Gold, even it can correct big time, it is not over owned at all.

In this world, I haven't seen any new tech stuff can store real value. (Can i-phone store any value?)
