还是short sale 的问题， 大家帮忙看看

正在买一个short sale的房子， 原owner的贷款是FHA，银行已经做了很多次appraisal ， 价格差异比较大。

今天，从银行来的如下update ， 是什么意思？
我们还有希望吗， 会拖多久

we have ordered our own appraisal to combat the value that the lender hasn’t disclosed? I hate to rant but FHA is costing us tax payers billions in holding these things to 84% of over inflated appraisals. Every FHA I have had has been this way.
