Any landlord eceived rent by Paypal or MC?

I have a "going to be" tenant. He and I are in Canada. He paid me $500 cash and rest he has to wait for funds from UK (he is paid by UK company's pension plan). He told me if I need immediately rest of the first and last months rent. He said he can pay by mastercard if I have some friend who is a vendor accept mastercard (cash advance costs too much for him). Later, we realized maybe Paypal kind online payment accept UK pounds if he pays with his UK mastercard and then pay me via paypal.

Just check this forum, has any other landlord receive rent by paypal? I just need for the rest of the first & last month rents, and in future, they will pay by post dated checks.
