Year end tax loss selling pressure on no performing stocks

Those stocks did not participate in the recovery are under selling pressure these few days.
Many funds/individuals need to unload them by the year end to offset their gains for tax reason.
I guess those Solar and Dryship stocks are under this pressure. I even feel next week those home builders
will have sell pressure as well even though they did go up quite a lot today.
