Too dangeous, need to fix right away

It's not because of rainy day, it's mechanical issue. Possible causes:
(1) Control bar - linkage loose. small boots/lubricant holder broken too
(2) Rack n' pinion excessive wear, maybe a dead lock point exists.

Let mechanic check it right away
