Any any moment, there is no savings at all,

1) When HELOC balance is zero
There is no saving
2) When HELOC balance is $2000
There is no saving either, we pay more interest than that being saved

The bottom line is that how can one save anything by borrowing from higher rate and paying to lower rate.

This is the funnest calculation I have ever seen.
