What is the best way to transfer a lot of Pictures? (图)

We just got back from an one week AI vacation from Riviera Maya (south of Cancun) Mexico. Between wife and I, we took over 1400 photos. Unfortunately, I thought I had a back up copy but I did not. So some of the best pictures were destroyed. What is the best way to put these picture on line for friends to see? One of the luckest shot I got is this big bird eating its catch of the day
