D80 Shutter Life Expectancy

To my surprise, I have taken almost 5000 shots with my D80 in just about 2 months. Today I read that the shutter life expectancy for D80 is about 50,000. This means I have use 1/10 of life time of D80.

I like to just clicking, taking 200 - 300 shot a day.

Anyone knows about what is covered under warranty? If the shutter stops working within one year after 50,000 clicking, is it still covered under warranty?
