我该不该支持老公？

劳工是化学工程师出身，现在一家Fortune Top 10石油公司工作，工作稳定，工资不错；今年准备在本地德州上part-time law school,前几天LSAT成绩出来，非常好176(满分180,数99.7%)，想明年转报Stanford or Berkeley University, 如果被录取，就只能上full-time, 这就意味着：
１。他要辞职全职攻读学位，意味着我们要少一份收入
２。我要考虑job relocation,从德州搬到加州（我们公司总部在Palo Alto)，生活费用要上涨很多
3. 要申请学生贷款付他的学费
3. 我们要卖掉现在的房子，我要一个人在工作的同时承担家务及照顾孩子

大家给我参谋一下：law school graduates真的在收入上比工程师有很大的跳跃吗？值不值得牺牲三年的时间和精力，放弃德州现有的舒适生活而支持老公pursue law degree?
