I have a challenging question about cross-market quotes. If a stock's ask price is lower than its bid, this is usually called cross-market. It happens when a market is very busy or its trading is halted. When this stock starts to trade, what will happen? What will be the first transaction price? It should be the bid or ask price? Or it depends on orders' entry time.
