在书房找东西，翻出了儿子四年级的一篇作文。挺感触的，本想把标题写成“儿子，我为你心疼”，可能会让别人会让人想多了。手迹比较潦草，抄写一遍，再加上中文翻译，以方便懒得读英文的朋友。
"I'm home", I moaned as I walked into my house. I could bearly keep my eyes open and the weight of my backpack seemed to get heavier and heavier. "Welcome back. Try and finish your homework, we'er going to karate soon." my mom told me. "I must be having a dream," I thought to myself. To answer that question, I pinched myself, "Oww", I said to myself, "I am awake." As I slowly walked to the table where I do my homework, I suddenly feel extremly tired. "Mom," I called out, "can we please not go to karate." My mom walks in to my view and tells me. "Sorry, we have to go, we owe some days." I was as angry as a person falling out his bed at 12:00 in the morning. I slowly walk back as an idea stirs inside of me.
"Can I go to sleep?" I asked my mom with my best sleepy expression. (I basically did nothing though) My mom looks at me and I can tell she wants to say no. But after taking a look at my eyes she sighs and tells me yes. I slowly walk upstair and in to my room. I closed the door behind me and jump into the bed. I quickly fall asleep.
Fifty minutes later. "Knock, knock," I hear, waking up. I close my eyes so I look like I'm sleeping. My mom opens the door and tries to woke me up. No use, I don't budge. She does this for eight minutes and then yells into my ear "Wake up!" Even though I was awake I still couldn't take it. I slowly woke and as calmly as I can I said "What?" My mom looks at me and leaves to go down stairs, "Yes!" I whispered to myself tiredly.
I get out of bed and I see my mom with a evil grin, "what," I said nervously. "Oh, it's just that since you decide to miss karate I decide to give you extra, extra homework." I froze and turned pale like a ghost. " What?" I asked this time really scared. My mom handed me a notebook with five pages of math problem.
I ran off to get my karte gear with little hope that I didn't miss it already, but no it's too late...
“回家了”，当走进我家门是时，叹口气。我强睁着眼睛，感觉到我的背包似乎越来越重。只听见妈妈说：“回来了。快去把你作业做完，我们马上就要去练空手道了。” 我心里想 “我是在做梦吗。” 为了回答这个问题，我捏了捏自己，“哦”，我对自己说，“我醒着。” 慢慢走到写作业的桌子前，突然觉得好累。 “妈妈，”我喊道，“我们能不能不要去练习空手道。” 妈妈走进我的视野并告诉我。 “对不起，我们得去，我们已经欠了几次了。” 我就像一个在凌晨 12:00 从床上掉下来的人一样生气。我慢慢地往回走，一个想法在我心中荡漾。
“我可以去睡觉了吗？”我做出我最好的困倦的表情问我妈妈。（其实我基本上什么也没做）我妈妈看着我，我可以看出她想说不。但看了我的眼睛后，她叹了口气，告诉我好吧。我慢慢地走上楼，走进我的房间。关上身后的门，跳上了床。我很快就进入梦乡。
五十分钟后。 “当，当”的声音，敲醒了我。我还闭着眼睛，做出还在睡觉的样子。我妈妈打开门继续敲着，没用，我不让步。八分钟后，她对着我的耳朵大喊“醒醒！”，我很不情愿的醒来了。我慢慢起来，尽可能平静地说：“什么？” 妈妈看了我一眼，转身下楼了。“太好了！” 我侥幸地自言自语。
当我站起来的时候，却看到妈妈带着可怕的面容，“什么，” 我紧张地问。 她说 “好吧，既然你决定不去练空手道，我决定给你额外的，额外的作业。” 我僵住了，脸色苍白得像个幽灵。 “ 什么？” 我很紧张的问。只见妈妈递给我一本笔记本，上面有五页数学题。
我赶紧跑去拿上空手道装备，希望我没有错过它，但现一切已经太晚了...
