我家自推娃的好消息！

我是个放羊妈，所以极少来逛子女教育坛。今天收到女儿被她最心仪的学校西北大学录取的消息，很开心。忍不住来夸夸娃：D

女儿是比较聪明，但不是绝顶聪明的。从小到大几乎没参加过比赛。但是她自己知道学习努力，每天基本是半夜以后才睡。她是 well rounded 学生，每门功课都不错，也没有为了 GPA 而放弃GPA 低的choir, 也没有为GPA 放弃午餐去选AP课. 学校排名到senior year 才出来。发现她居然在这个本地最好的公立学校里排名12。比我们想像中好太多。她在校内校外组织参加了不少活动，是学校的大使之一，被counselor 选出来得荣誉奖，这在95%白人的学校是不容易的。

我最开心的是高中四年，女儿成长为一个善良，真诚，有爱心，有亲和力，各方面全面发展的孩子！

祝她在大学里能有更好的生活和学习，开拓视野，结交良师益友，成为更好的自己！
